It's a good school that will prepare you well to be a clinician. But don't go here if you you expect a great social environment too.

Read everything on school website, researched AMC's achievements, thoroughly went through AMCAS
What impressed you positively?
The medical center is big. They have over 650 beds, and patients from all over the New England and New York area are admitted. It is the only major tertiary care center in the area.
What impressed you negatively?
Albany sucks.
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
If traveling by car in the winter, take an SUV. I drove back in a blizzard, and it's a miracle I got through the mountains in one piece
