✅ Interview Preparation and Impressions

How is the friendliness of the admissions office?

8 out of 10

How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

8 out of 10

How did you prepare for the interview?

Student doctor network, mock interviewers, researched the school online, looked over by optomcas application and secondary essays.

What impressed you positively?

How friendly the interviewers were with me and with other interviewers.. I felt a really strong sense of community

What impressed you negatively?

The admissions office messed up my chemistry pre-requisite classes. They told me I need to take another chemistry class, but my classmates from the same school don't have to.. even though we took all the same classes. Seemed a little unorganized..

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

That the clinics are actually very thorough and informative.. Or so the students claim. I heard rumors that NECO has a weak clinical program.

What are your general comments?

Amazing location, friendly staff/faculty, questionable preparation for clinics, expensive housing, expensive tuition..

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

The admissions office made alot of mistakes when figuring out which documents/classes were still required. They could be a little more careful with this, but otherwise everything else was great! Overall it was a very organized interview process with super friendly faculty/staff
