About the School
The Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) established its Louisiana campus in Monroe in 2019, welcoming its inaugural class in 2020. This campus is the fourth branch of VCOM, joining its sister campuses in Virginia, South Carolina, and Alabama. The Simulation and Technology Center houses clinical medical procedural skills laboratories, simulated patient exam rooms with recording capability and electronic medical record technology, patient simulation laboratories, and high-tech mannequin simulators for pediatric, adult, and obstetrical procedural training. Outdoor amenities include a walking path and patios, providing students with both indoor and outdoor environments for study and activities.
