What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

"Nothing, everything was very well organized and prepared." More from this Member | Report Response

"I'd really like to see more accepted applicant stats released after the cycle is over. The stats on the website seem to be the same ones from previous years. How many applied, how many interviewed, got seats, etc. A really cool thing to do would be the class profiles that OSU and Michigan do! Other than that admissions was very speedy in responses of all kinds and very accommodating." More from this Member | Report Response

"Respond to emails in a more timely manner. I had to email twice to make sure my RSVP for the interview was in, and then it took more than a month for me to get the actual information about the interview." More from this Member | Report Response

"M. Hadaway always told us to contact her if we had any questions regarding the process. I tried contacting her on two different occasions. I sent her 2 emails, and left 2 voicemails. She never responded to me. Also, she never informed me of my interview time, so I had to waste money on a hotel, car rental, and missing another day at work so I could stay an extra night (when I could have flown out that day if she had actually returned my correspondence)." About the LizzyM Score

LizzyM, SDN Moderator and medical school admissions committee member, is the inventor of the LizzyM Score. The score allows you to see if you are a competitive applicant at a given school. If your LizzyM Score is far below or above the average, you may not be a good fit. If your score is far below, your application may be screened out due to numerical cutoffs. If it is far above, the school may assume they are your “safety” school and that you won’t attend if they offer an acceptance. This score should be used only as a guide to help you select schools and is not a guarantee of acceptance at any school. If you use this as your sole criteria to select medical schools to apply to, you don’t deserve to get in anyway.
