So, and I know I posted something similar before, but my SO's mom is going for/starting a master's in counseling. She knows I'm joining at PTSD oriented lab for my PhD and asked for some good books for someone interested about trauma.
Unfortunately, I tend to know more about which books to avoid i.e. The Body keeps the Score or similar pseudoscientific shilling. Does anyone have some solid/interesting reads that are based in sound evidence? She doesn't know too much about trauma and I figured a book would be a palatable start.
