Wondering if people from previous years (or those who have been accepted or rejected post interview this cycle) can weigh in on whether the better the interview feels correlates highly with acceptance
For example, one interview that I felt went really well ended with the faculty member saying, “I really hope to see you around campus next year.”
Or my dream school interview ending with the faculty member saying, “You are perfect for [dream school]”.
Wondering whether comments like this and really just positive vibes generally correlate with acceptance or are these just common things said to make people feel comfortable during the stressful interview process.
Any feedback on how you felt your interviews went vs acceptance or rejection is most appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
