Is talking about the clinical experiences I had because of my mom, a retina specialist, going to make me sound off?

Growing up in a developing country, there isn’t a lot of physicians to help people from rural parts of the country. When I was in high school, I saw patients come to my mom’s clinic and get surgeries. I used to shadow her in surgery rooms, help out with simple things like leading patients to the nearest pharmacy and to their hotel rooms, put them their clothes for surgeries and other stuff. This has significantly affected my interest in medicine. Should I mention it, or should I just let it go?
