Your life experience will be an advantage in your interviews.
If you have the letters of recommendation, and your interviewing skills match, I'd say you have an outstanding shot!

Dr. Henderson,
I have applied to the following schools: Florida, South Florida, Miami, Penn State,Med Coll SC, Med Coll Wisconsin, Jefferson Medical, MCP/Hahnemann, Louisville, Cincinnati, UMDNJ-Johnson, Wayne State, and long shots Maryland, North Carolina, Case Western, Tulane, Emory, Johns Hopkins, Yale, Cornell, Georgetown. Should I have included some more less competitive schools? Should I apply to osteopathic schools? Do D.O.'s and M.D.'s spend the same number of years in residency?

If you are at all interested in osteopathy, I think it would be a good idea.
Yes, residency is the same. Many do's do MD residency programs.
