MSU v DMU

Howdy y'all! I just got accepted to MSU, but I'm currently holding a seat at DMU. MSU has a p/f curriculum, seemingly more research opportunities, robust clinical rotations, and connections to a plethora of former AOA residencies. Attending MSU appears to be a no-brainer, but I wanted to check in to see if I'm missing anything or if anyone else has something to add. (Tuition is approx. the same at both schools)

MSU is great. There are many research opportunities, especially if you end up in the Grand Rapids location. Additionally, a new partnership with Henry Ford, new home residency programs in fields like Neurosurg, urology, and derm, and a 335,000-square-foot research facility in Detroit are set to open in 2027.
