My cousin graduated medical school in his home country, but was never able to match despite passing the USMLE. He has considered Podiatry, since some schools (NYCPM and Western) grant advance standing to those who have completed an accredited Medical School curriculum.
For studying, it seems simple, one can get a student visa (F1).
Residency - looks like it can be OPT, but also possibly H1B or J1.
After residency? What would the options be? Would it be the H1B or J1 as well?
