    Ohio State? Has anyone heard ANYTHING from them yet?

    I spoke to an admissions secretary about two weeks ago, and she told me that Ohio State is interviewing candidates with >3.5 GPA AND >30 MCAT until the end of January. Then, they will call people will stats lower than those.

    I interviewed in late October, and there were about 10 people in my group. Do NOT be nervous. Just know why you want to be an osteopathic physician and review your primary application! I am sure you will do great. It's very stress free! Good luck!

    Over the last few years, Wright State has placed increasing importance on "humanitarian qualities" (shown by volunteering, community service, etc.). So, if you have some good EC's, apply!

    Secondary - Medical College of Ohio

    I think they are basically asking you to write about one experience where you showed that you are aware/sensitive to a culture/s different from your's and somehow, tie it in to the medical field.

    anyone recommend flower and silvers mcat book?

    I feel it would not be worth it for anyone to spend a lot of time practicing with the Flowers and Silvers book. The reason being, it is too easy! I would do the offical AAMC material before anything else! Get the concepts down from those questions and focus on why you are making mistakes.

    The schools I talked to: U of Cinci NEOUCOM MCW all said they should be getting our August score next week. Hope this helps (i know this may not be representative of ALL schools; however, I will update this info. next week :)

    I called a few of my schools and asked this question. One said that they have designated "download" days assigned to them by AMCAS and that is when they get updated information from them. The few I called said the same thing --> they will most likely get the August scores next week.

    taking mcat a 3rd time????

    I think if they are expired --> they don't count. I know a girl w ho was planning on re-taking the August MCAT because her MCAT scores were going to expire; however, she was on the waitlist at SLU all summer while re-studying. About July...she hears she got in with her ALMOST expired...
