**Forums Usage Policy**

Forum ettiquete applies in all areas of the Dental forum. All opinions and viewpoints are welcome. However, personal insults, name-calling, trolls, pornography, spam, and other TOS violations are not appropriate.

If you find a post that is inappropriate, harassing, or otherwise violates the Forums Usage Policies, please report it by clicking the "Report Bad Post" icon at the bottom left corner of the post. The forums are here for the benefit of the guests and are here because of the guests. Therefore, it is largely up to the guests to moderate themselves. Using the "Report Bad Post" icon is an excellent way to do this in a discrete fashion.

Just a reminder that direct personal insults against other guests are violations of the SDN User Agreement. Guests that violate the SDN Terms of Service are subject to a warning, probation, post-hold, and banishment. For example, posts that state "you are an idiot" (or other variations) are unacceptable. Why? Because this isn't grade school and guets should be able to not purposely insult other guests.

Images embedded in messages that may be taken as direct personal insults are also covered by the SDN TOS and action will be taken against the poster.

This is a professional forum, which means we need stimulating conversation, differing opinions, and lively discussion. What we don't need are personal insults.
