You think they are filled because they are not available on ERAS? or did you emailed the coordinators/PD and they said they have filled the positions?

have I checked them all personally? no. A few of them, yes. Regardless, these programs are removed from ERAS and cannot be applied in the normal process. It seems they would be filled internally. It would be great to hear more from others to confirm this. I knew Geisinger had filled by prematch already.

If a program asks for 3 letters, can you submit 4? Would that give a bad impression?
I have 4 letters but I don’t know how to decide on them. 1 from PD (mandatory), 1 from cath lab director, 1 from IC PD, 1 from previous cardiology chair (interventional, with the most connections).
Please advise. Thank you.

I think it depends on how competitive you think you are, if you know your home program is close to guaranteed, and when said program interviews you. It definitely has it's pros and cons.

Yale interviewed on 12/8/20, I am not sure if they had any other date options. U Mass gave Jan 9 as the interview date. Good luck!
