I will be OOS in both schools so cost is about the same for me.
The difference would be moving out of state vs. moving out of country. I'm originally from China and moved to California for college, and have been here for 6 years, so I have experience moving across the world.
New Zealand seems really fun and exciting, and Massey seems awesome, but I am pretty set on being an oncologist and Michigan seems to offer more opportunities for externships/internships just because of its location.
