Well from what I have head(on interview day as well) is thje top 15 applicants get a call withing 2 weeks of their interview date. The rest have to wait till later in the season. This is straight from the mouth of someone on the admissions committee. The whole ranking system is computarized...

hey guys, I saw a thread floating around for Northwestern awhile ago. I just received an interview invitation from them and my app was complete two months ago. I guess they are just slow ass ****ers! Keep in there if you are still waiting

OK here is an easy way to tell what the heck is goin on. Are there any strong applicants(3.9, 35 plus, research, etc) who were moved to screen in either august or september who have not heard anything. If there are a few there still might be hope for the rest of us
