I was waitlisted for just MD at UCLA. I didn't really consider applying for MSTPs til towards the end of the application cycle. I filled out a UCLA secondary quite early in process, so I strictly went for MD only. And yes, I'm in the MSTP at UCI. What about you?

I agree. It would have lessoned some of the extra time pressure off of their shoulders too if they ranked the list.

Deanna might have said it to not encourage us from thinking we have a chance. Based on the information given I doubt the committee have had an opportunity to get together and review the entire waitlistees profiles yet...remember? They don't have a ranked waitlist so gotta review all 100 of us...
