I was accepted in the last 2 weeks and was first notified by Terri Hall via an e-mail titled "status update". The e-mail said congrats......formal letter to be mailed. (which I received about a week later)

The admissions office just told me that notifications will be coming this week through email. So you should all find out whether u were accepted/ rejected/ or waitlisted by the end of this week.

Hang in there...

A friend of mine got an e-mail this afternoon notifying him that he was accepted ! The interview date was way back in the beginning of April I believe and there was no earlier letter concerning "hold status" or anything.

the recptionist lady told me that there were around 100 people on the waiting list...
and i forgot to ask if there are rankings --- so somebody here call and ask them that please.

I heard today that there are 3 different waitlists - (it might be 3 different categories of one waitlist, I'm not sure). The top tier is ranked and obviously has the best chance of acceptance. I was also told that just under 25% of the class is from the waitlist. Waitlist movement occurs mostly in July... hopefully this means that good news is coming!!!

For those of you who were accepted, were you told you were on the top of the waitlist, middle or bottom? Thanks, I am losing hope because after being on hold since March, I was waitlisted and the secretary says I'm on the bottom of the list. She did not ask for my ssn or amcas which is wierd. Thanks.

No to your first Q. I think this secretary's statement has no valid ground, I would ignore it. You never know what to expect in this process. Good luck.
