Beth Israel NYC housing

Has anyone lived in the student housing at Beth Israel in NYC? I was just wondering what the hospital meant by calling the housing "basic." It's v. inexpensive by NY standards. I'm not looking for a penthouse, but would like to know if I should expect roommates in the form of assorted vermin. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

i'd be interested in this too... i'd like to do a 4th yr ED elective @ beth isreal. i live on long island, and am desperate enough to live in the city that i may consider rooming with vermin, so long as they can cook or at least be willing to chip in for take-out every now and then...
