Hey all,

I have a question for you. I am currently going to Columbia university and will be attending NYU in the fall. The problem is that I need to put my stuff in storage for the summer. Does anyone know of someplace that is responsible and inexpensive? I have to be out of here by the end of next week so I have to find some place fast!

I'm actually across the street at Barnard, and I know that they've been advertising summer storage services on both campuses...I've actually been tossing the flyers when I receive them, but I'll see if I can fish one up for you.

Wow! who knew there were so many CU people on SDN?! I am actually not a CC student I am in the GS/JTS joint program so I don't live in Columbia housing. I geuss that means Wallach is out? What storage facilities did you all use?

I don't really have anything to add. I just want to keep this post alive. So, how about those storage facilities? Anyone know of someplace good? This is crunch time folks. I only have 1 week left to find a place, pack, and store my stuff so any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Im answering this even though it's super old bc I've been seeing a lot of these questions lately, and maybe if someone else comes across it it will be helpful?

I just wanted to share that I've used Manhattan Mini Storage a few times because they're super-clean, they have student specials over the summer, and i LOVE their ads, lol. They have two storage locations near Columbia, one on 135th and one on 107/Amsterdam (super convenient since I lived on 112th). Plus they also do pickup, I think.
