Oh, and if you don't mind finding a random roommate (that's what I did for school), then go to Washingtonpost.com. They have a link there for finding roommates. If you would like something nice, go for something in Clarendon/Ballston. It's a pricey area (somewhat of an understatement), but it's very nice. Part of it's price is it's convenience and access to numerous things. Clarendon is actually considered a sort of mecca for singles (I read some article about it having one of the highest percentages of singles!). There are clubs, bars, restaurants, theaters, a mall (tiny, but at least you have one). It also has several metro stops from which GW is an easy ride to. The metro stop is literally right in front of GW and it's new hospital. But if you're worried about cost, then you're prolly gonna need to find a roommate to live in Clarendon
