So your BLM/BSM hours go under social advocacy, and I need details of your work with refugees. Animal shelter work is nice community service but won't address service orientation directly. You need to get at least 150 hours of nonclinical community service that highlights your service orientation as defined by the AAMC competencies.

The average number of applications was 18 per applicant, so I would focus on at least 20 schools whenever possible, based on mission fit.
