I have a 3.398 GPA and I got a 17 on the MCAT last August. I plan to retake the MCAT this April.
With the GPA I have, what are my chances of getting into a Caribbean Med. School if I applied now?
And if my 17 is not good enough, what is the minimum score I should aim for on the MCAT to give myself the best shot at making it into a Carrib. Med. School?
Also, one more question..Should I ask my Letter of Rec. writers to tailor make their letters geared towards my acceptance into a Carribean med. school?
Thanks for any help from anyone!

If I were you, I'd seriously consider re-taking the MCAT. I'm not trying to discourage you; I just think you'll need something at least in the lower-to-mid-20s range. With some good studying you should be able to get there.

As far as the LORs go, they don't need to be any different than the ones you'd use for a US school.

Best of luck!
