I agree with Wahoo and lola too. Definitely retake it. Also, I don't think you should apply at all with that score. Your best chance at getting in is on your first try, so try and make the most of it.

I don't know about USUHS, but I had my HPSP physical this spring, and I can tell you that the Army is pretty sticky about asthma and other health problems. That said, though, I think depending on your job (in our case, doctors), there are waivers you can get to get around some of these issues...

I don't know much about the NY area, seeing as I'm from CA, but I believe that there is a general shortage of FP and IM docs nationwide. I haven't heard of such nationwide shortages in OB/GYN or Peds. Perhaps someone from the NY area can help us out with this one?

Well, if you want to be near the city, count Finch out. Its actually about an hour (that was how long it took me to get from Midway Airport) out in the boonies. You do go into the city for 3rd and 4th years, but that's still 2 years out in the middle of nowhere, and it sounds like you aren't...
