What are your general comments?

It was very laid back. The interviewers made jokes to calm me down. They were very receptive to my answers and respectful of my questions. I didn't feel incredibly inferior to them.

What was the most interesting question?

If a friend of yours growing up was a physician in the same hospital as you, and you saw him taking pain killers, what do you do? You talk to him and he's addicted, what to you do? He takes some pills before performing surgery, what do you do?

Describe your life as a physician. I didn't realize how specific they wanted the answer.

How did you prepare for the interview?

Mock interview, researched current medical topics, read a science magazine, used this website, spoke to other physicians.

What impressed you positively?

The students' attitude. They all seemed very happy. It was a laid back environment. The SP program and children's hospital was great.

What impressed you negatively?

I wasn't given get a chance to see both hospitals.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

The signs for the airport suck. I got lost on my way back to return the rental car, and get on the plane.
