The Health Professional Student Association (HPSA), which operates the Student Doctor Network (SDN) site, may offer licensed, anonymized vector and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) data services based on public SDN site content and community resources. HPSA does not license or sell member data. These services are intended for organizations that need citation-backed retrieval, educational search, institutional research, advising support, or AI-assisted discovery without receiving private member data or bulk forum archives.

Community-Specific RAG Access
Each community package is designed as a retrieval layer rather than a content dump. Authorized customers may receive search results, citations, topic labels, summaries, metadata, embeddings, vector-search access, and limited retrieved passages under a written HPSA license. HPSA remains the data owner and licensing authority; SDN is the site and community network where source content appears. Outputs should link back to canonical SDN pages when SDN knowledge materially informs a response.

What Can Be Included
- Anonymized or de-identified public-content passages prepared for retrieval.
- Vector embeddings or hosted vector-search access for approved corpora.
- Source URLs, thread or article titles, timestamps where appropriate, and citation metadata.
- Community, profession, school, program, applicant-stage, and topic labels.
- Aggregated themes, trend summaries, and retrieval confidence signals.
- Structured public educational data from HPSA-operated SDN resources such as articles, Schools Database content, Interview Feedback, Secondary Essay Prompts, and public taxonomies where licensed.
What Is Excluded
These services do not include private messages, deleted content, user account data, email addresses, IP addresses, payment or donation information, moderator communications, administrative records, sensitive personal information, or behavioral profiles. HPSA does not license private member data as part of community RAG access.
Privacy-Preserving Delivery Models
- Hosted retrieval API: customers query HPSA-controlled search and retrieval systems based on SDN site content and receive citation-backed answers or passages.
- Managed vector access: customers receive limited vector-search access without downloading or replicating the full corpus.
- Aggregated research outputs: customers receive anonymized, aggregate findings, dashboards, or reports for approved educational and institutional research uses.
License Restrictions
Written HPSA agreements may restrict redistribution, republishing at scale, model training, corpus replication, bulk exports, re-identification, derived user-profile sales, API resale, rate-limit circumvention, and products that substitute for the SDN site or community experience. Foundation-model training, full corpus replication, and bulk downloads are not included unless expressly authorized in writing.
