Curriculum

DUCOM’s MD program features the “Foundations and Frontiers” curriculum, a four-year program divided into three phases. Phase One (Years 1-2) focuses on basic and clinical sciences; Phase Two (Year 3) emphasizes clinical rotations; and Phase Three (Year 4) prepares students for residency with advanced clinical skills. The curriculum incorporates emerging competencies such as population health, health informatics, and healthcare systems, aiming to produce physicians adept in both traditional clinical skills and modern healthcare challenges.
