Established in 1909, Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine is a private, Jesuit Catholic institution located in Maywood, Illinois. Named in 1948 after Samuel Cardinal Stritch, the school emphasizes a mission-driven approach that integrates scientific rigor with compassionate care, rooted in Jesuit values. Stritch is one of only four Jesuit medical schools in the United States and maintains full accreditation from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME). Curriculum
The Stritch School of Medicine offers a four-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) program designed to develop well-rounded, compassionate physicians.
