We serve - and learn from - the community.

Curriculum

Also included are programs in leadership skills, professional development, research and teaching skills. Assessment provides continuing feedback on students progress and certifies competency to move forward in the curriculum.

Facilities

As a UVM student, you will have the opportunity to experience clinical training in a variety of settings including teaching hospitals Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Maine Medical Center in Portland, as well as with local physicians in their practices. These settings provide students with the opportunity to work with distinctly different populations of patients in clinical settings. Most of the College's clinical training takes place at adjacent teaching hospital Fletcher Allen Health Care, which comprises a large multi-specialty outpatient clinic, 22 satellite facilities including primary care locations, and a tertiary-level referral medical center hospital.
