What med school would you choose? I'm really torn and am looking for opinions!

Hmmm...3 votes to 3 votes so far. Any reasons for your voting the way you all did?

lucky to make that choice. I would LOVE to go to Yale. Oh how I wish I even got an interview!!! I would trade places with you anyday.

I would go to yale because of the freedom which they give their students -- the curriculum is like nowhere else because they know that their students are smart and don't need to be bogged down with useless class stuff. Also, the thesis is a cool opportunity to get involved with some cutting edge stuff. If I had gotten an interview at yale I would have been so pumped, and you got in, so that is awesome!

well, it also depends on what you are looking for in a school. The biggest difference is probably their curriculum. How did you feel about the two schools while you were there, etc? If you like research, I would definitely go to wash u.

I liked Wash U the best out of all the schools I interviewed at, and absolutely loved the school when I went to revisit. Wash U is excellent for research as well, and the students are given lots of support in every way. (So is Yale, of course... that's why the key is to see which school YOU like the most.) If you're not sure, I would recommend a revisit. Tell the schools that you are deciding between them, and there is a good chance that they will both offer you a free revisit or at least partially cover the cost (i.e. put you up or pay for your ticket). After my revisit last year, I was confident about Wash U. I'm now a 1st year there, so if you have any questions at all, I'd be happy to answer them.

Hope to see you here next year!
