- Research Assistance: Authors may use AI tools to gather background information, summarize literature, or generate search queries. All data and claims must be verified by the author against primary sources.
- Language & Editing Support: AI may be used for grammar correction, style editing, formatting, and improving readability.
- Idea Generation: Authors may use AI for outlining or brainstorming article structure, provided final content is developed and validated by a human author.
3. Prohibited Uses of AI
- Unverified Content: AI output may not be published without independent fact-checking and human authorship.
- Plagiarism: Authors may not submit AI-generated text or images that copy or misappropriate others’ work.
- Undisclosed AI Authorship: Articles cannot list AI tools as co-authors.
4. Disclosure

- Light use of AI for grammar, formatting, or reference management does not require disclosure.
5. Editorial Oversight
- All manuscripts undergo editorial and peer review consistent with COPE guidelines.
- Editors verify that sources are cited correctly, claims are supported by evidence, and AI use has not compromised accuracy or originality.
6. Accountability
- Human authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their submissions.
- Violations of this policy may result in rejection, correction notices, or retraction, in line with our Corrections Policy.
