YUCDM offers a 36-month Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) program designed to prepare graduates for licensure as general dentists in all 50 states. Curriculum

In D3, students serve as primary providers under faculty supervision, emphasizing comprehensive treatment planning and clinical competency. Progression is competency-based and follows a prescribed sequence of academic, simulation, laboratory, and clinical experiences.
Facilities
YUCDM occupies four floors of the Herald Center in Midtown Manhattan, totaling approximately 120,000 square feet. The catalog describes 130 dental operatories with supporting clinical offices, a 157-seat simulation laboratory, a lecture hall, student lounge, and locker facilities. Learning resources include designated study areas, libraries, quiet study zones, and reservable group-study rooms. Simulation laboratories use dental units, typodonts, and digital technology to reproduce clinical settings.
