The SDN Student Advisory Council (SAC) brings student perspectives to the board and management so that programs and priorities reflect the needs of pre-health and health professional students.
Membership
- Current undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, graduate, and health professional students may apply.
- Members serve one-year terms and may reapply while completing their education.
- The council seeks representation across the health professions and meets remotely.
- Selected members complete identity verification and a volunteer nondisclosure agreement.
Council work
- Review current and planned SDN programs and recommend priorities
- Gather feedback from student communities
- Advise on new tools, courses, and educational resources
- Support the annual Advisor of the Year review
- Elect a president, vice president, and secretary

Applications have historically been accepted from mid-April through May 31. Current timing will be announced before each cycle. Students may send a resume and a short letter of interest to [email protected].
