The second annual National Pre-Health Conference is from Wednesday, August 4th to Friday, August 6th from 9:30 am – 7:05 pm EST (6:30 am – 4:05 pm PST). This event is online and completely free for anyone interested in a career in healthcare. Register here! Our theme, Unity in Healthcare, highlights various healthcare professionals from across the country. These guest speakers will share their experiences in the vast medical realm.

Well-renowned professionals such as Dr. Bill Dorfman (@drbilldorfman), a featured dentist on ABC’s hit show Extreme Makeover and a recurring host on the CBS Emmy awarded show The Doctors, are scheduled to attend the conference. Dr. Dorfman invented Zoom Teeth Whitening where he helped grow his company, Discus Dental, from zero to over $1.3 billion in sales before selling it to Philips. Additionally, Dr. Dorfman has more than 20 Lifetime Achievement Awards and 2 Guinness World Book records and is a NY Times Best Selling author. He also helped raise over $45 million for children’s charities.

Dr. Vincent Raceniello (@profvrr), a Professor of Microbiology & Immunology in the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University, will also be featured as a guest speaker at this conference. He has been studying viruses and teaching students about virology for decades. Dr. Raceniello hosts a famous virology podcast entitled, “This Week in Virology”. This podcast grew its audience under the COVID-19 pandemic and currently covers breaking news about the changing nature of research and treatment of the disease. The 2021 National Pre-Health Conference will have special sessions including professional workshops, wellness advocacy, a research expo, and a virtual game session. On Day Two, the Research Expo will feature the details and advancements of students’ research from across the country. At the end of Day 3, the NPHC leadership team will award Certificates of Achievement to the top three presenters for Most Innovative, Audience’s Favorite, and Best Presentation. Additionally, there will be Interactive Game Sessions with Jeopardy and Kahoot on Day Three to connect students around the globe. There will also be a Tabling Session throughout the conference for pre-health organizations such as the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) to share ways to get involved and upcoming events.
